Wherever Toni shows up, even a meat counter turns into a regulars’ table. Ever since the musician chucked his guitar, he lingers through life as a well known grumbler. When a parcel is mistakenly delivered to his door, he gets into his car without further ado, trying to find the right addressee. Already at the first crossroads a seemingly endless odyssey begins to unfold.

Set in Harlem in 1947, this film is the story of Grandpa Kansas and his jazz band that set out to become world famous only to be thwarted by jealousy and envy - leaving behind shattered dreams and deep regrets. Though made at NYU, this film was produced under Walt Disney / Hollywood Pictures Discretionary Fund Program, and has won the top prize in multiple film competitions by respected institutions, including The Black American Cinema Society, Black Filmmaker Hall of Fame, and the Atlanta / Image Film Festival.

With the aid of four actors in a rehearsal room, filmmaker Nur Fibak lays open the police investigation and court proceedings against the man who had molested her, revisiting the case as it unfolded from the moment she decided to seek justice. Behind closed doors, during the cross-examination, everything is permitted, including asking invasive questions, doubting the woman on the witness stand, and forcing her—that same traumatized child, now grown up—to experience a second kind of abuse.

The focus of attention during the 10-day Bach festivities in the City of Leipzig, as well as of "24 hours Bach", was the live transmission of the Mass in B-minor from the Church of Saint Thomas. The performers include the Thomanerchor Leipzig and an ensemble of highly regarded soloists. Georg Christoph Biller, the cantor of Saint Thomas' Church and Bach's 16th successor conducts the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig.
